摘要：

The improved exponential type estimators for finite population mean are proposed. The proposed estimators are based on the information from two transformed auxiliary variables using simple random sampling without replacement. The expression for the mean square error and bias of the proposed estimators has been derived, and the conditions have been obtained under which these estimators are more efficient than the existing estimators. Empirical study has also been conducted to show the improvement in efficiency of the proposed estimators.
