摘要
This paper describes an optimum motor selection method for d.c. servo drive systems. The method is based on a computer-aided dynamic optimisation strategy, in which an optimum motor is searched among candidates so as to minimise the energy conversion losses in performing the required duty cycle. In addition, the chosen motor satisfies the constraints specified in terms of peak and rated torques, speed and temperature rise. A computer algorithm is developed to realise the optimum strategy and its effectiveness is demonstrated by solving a real design problem. © 1990.
