摘要
The effect of minor Zr and Fe additions in Ni76Al24+B on microstructure and texture evolution during both cold rolling and annealing was investigated. Most features of texture, microstructure, and mechanical properties were found to be similar to the unalloyed base material. Specific differences were observed for the recrystallization texture, the grain growth kinetics and the low temperature work hardening rate. These effects were attributed to the gamma'/gamma+gamma' duplex structure, which caused precipitation hardening at ambient temperature as well as recrystallization in situ and sluggish grain growth kinetics due to Zener drag during elevated temperature annealing.
