摘要
A study was performed with the object of finding the optimum conditions for ethanol production from the acid hydrolyzate of wheat-milling waste-residues (Akalona), using the Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast. The effects of the hydrolysis steps, concentration, temperature of fermentation and stirring, were studied. It was concluded that the highest yield of alcohol (2.42%) was obtained from Akalona hydrolyzate of high concentration (79.179 g/l) after 167 h. An economic alcohol yield could be obtained from an Akalona hydrolyzate of 45.833 g/l after 75 h of fermentation. Moreover, stirring increased the alcohol production by about 20%.
