摘要
Monstrosity in Frankenstein's myth appears as a cultural opaque solid with an inaccurate definition that remains in our collective imaginary. The present article treats to clarify this image through the dialectic established between Victor and his creature, Frankenstein, because they founded their relation in a constant transgression of the nature's order and human's limits. As well, the symbol of Fire in Modern Prometheus's myth has been interpreted to explore its relationship not only with life, but with death and destruction.
