摘要
The act of evaluating, in the Geography discipline, requires the use of tools to increase the ability to understand different social phenomena occurring in geographic space. Evaluation is important for the process of teaching and learning support, allowing the analysis of educational action in a continuous process, giving subsidies to resize the pedagogical practice. We tried to reflect about school evaluation in Geography, based in humanization through contributions of Aesthetic Education. So, we ask: How does the Aesthetic Education can contribute to the assessment in the Geography discipline? The importance of Aesthetic Education is considered to promote education for sensitivity, from experiences that awaken creativity, expanding the capacity for reflect ion and participation of students. Our goal is to find meaning in learning, in everyday actions and consequently in the Geography evaluation process. In this paper was used as main references Callai, Filizola, Furlan and Duarte Jr.
