摘要:
Rig experiments were carried out on a 1:35 scale model of a 2000 m**3 blast furnace. The charge consisted of coke breeze and, to represent the burden, paraffin wax and air at 160 degree C was blown into the model. By changing the charging regime the formation and configuration of the cohesive zone could be influenced. The influence of the distribution of the thickness of the cohesive zone and the height and average thickness on the gas permeability of the lower part of the furnace was determined.
