This article aimed to examine the relationship between business intelligence and decision making of managers in the Universal Bank of Venezuela. It starts from the idea that business intelligence is the executive information system in organizations gained increasing effectiveness in making management decisions. They reflected on the profile of the business intelligence, functional areas of universal banking, the hierarchical structure of decision making, the disciplines of decision making that are based on the intelligence business. A field study was descriptive correlational. It concluded that managers as there is a strong positive correlation between business intelligence and decision making is, the higher the applicability of the business intelligence the greater the effectiveness of decision making of managers in banking as long as employees feel that the business intelligence and decision making of managers, there is a moderate positive correlation, which means that high values on the business tend to show moderate values in decision making.
