摘要
A total process system is presented for treatment of municipal and industrial organic solid waste. This system is capable of utilization, recycling reusable materials and recovering energy from waste. Municipal Sold Waste is first enter to the classification process unit, where waste material is divided into biofraction, lightfraction, scrap metal, plastic, iron, aluminum and inertfraction. The biofraction is than digested in the anaerobic digestion process unit producing biogas and the biogas is upgraded to CH4 and CO2. Dewatered bioreactor residue from anaerobic digestion and the lightfraction of MS waste are combusted with high temperature, yielding heat and electricity. The process can also be applied to industrial organic waste, agricultural waste and sewage sludge. The principles and the fundamentals of solid waste conversion with anaerobic digestion process have been reviewed. Block diagram, material balance, energy production, feed distribution and the costs of the treatment process of 165 kt/a with cost sensitivities are summarized.
