摘要
Educational research is rarely read by educators and has a very limited influence on what is happening in the classroom. A major reason is the difficulty of the texts, which prevents its use by teachers and education officials alike. An experiment is described in which an evaluation report was turned into a textbook of didactics, adapting it for use in the training and inservice education of the personnel without impairing its essential nature as an evaluation study. A major difference between the usual way of publishing research findings and the manner adopted here is in presenting outcomes and interpretations side by side and spelling out the main findings and the conclusions to be drawn from them in a way which seems to be most relevant to the educational work in question. The report has now successfully been used for purposes of training for three years.
