摘要
Long neglected as a subject for serious empirical study, charismatic leadership in organizational settings has in the last several years been the focus of several conceptual schemes. Recently, a behavioural model has been proposed by Conger & Kanungo (1987). Based on this model, the present study suggests that charismatic leadership can indeed be studied as a dimension of leadership much like task or consideration roles. The results of the research demonstrate the validity of a behavioural model of charisma and provide both predictive convergent and discriminant validity tests of the construct.
