摘要
Giant ovarian cysts are conditions that require surgical excision due to their associated symptoms and to the difficulties to determine their nature on the base only of imaging. They can have a functional or epithelial origin. Among these cystadenofibroma represent a rare ovarian lesion that sometimes reach the dimension of a giant cyst. These lesions are usually excised by open approach because laparoscopic surgery may be demanding. Authors describe the case of a giant cystadenofibroma in a 16-year-old female that was completely excised by laparoscopy.
