ON THE GEOMETRY OF DIPOLAR DISLOCATION-STRUCTURES FORMED BY MULTISLIP

摘要
A prediction of dipolar wall geometry is based on the theory of dislocation structure formation. The three-dimensional model simulates in a simplified linearized form the dislocation cell structure development in a crystal where several slip systems operate. The theoretical framework is formed by the balance law for stored dislocations which are drifted or swept into the forming cell walls. The model explains the multislip wall arrangement observed in a copper single crystal deformed along the [001] tensile axis.
