摘要
To initiate the development of future engineering approaches for automation a vision of future needs and requirements will be mandatory. A study focussing on these visions will be introduced which is based on guided interviews with experts from different countries and continents (managing directors, head of design). The result is on the one hand astonishing and on the other hand self-evident: the most important aspects in all domains are efficiency in engineering (modularity, reuse and data integration) and support for a global engineering.
