摘要：

This article is an analyze of Os Velhos Troncos - The old trunk - written by Murilo Vilela, which objectives are to show how our concepts of time influences in the style of how we relate it with the physical environment as well as we experience it with our subjectivities. Although, our reading which is from the Ecocriticism and Postcolonial Critical point of view, we try to understand which notion of time and nature are discussed in its literature.
