摘要
The stoppage of an essential service motor in a continuous process plant may result in a costly shutdown. The induction and synchronous motors may be stable on a certain magnitude of voltage dip for a finite duration, and it may be desirable to delay their tripping from the power supply to maintain continuity of operations. The factors affecting the stability of the motors on voltage dips are dependent on the motor and load characteristics, as well as on power and control system parameters. © 1990 IEEE
