The author deals with << natural history of leishmanioses >>, by setting out the actors of the history (parasites, vectors, receptive and susceptible fellows) and their dialogue (Leishmania and vertebrates, Leishmania and vectors, life-cycle of Leishamnia) and describing the clash between Leishmania spp. and vertebrates (Leishmanioses of man and animals and leishmanial zoonoses).
