摘要：

In this research paper configuration principle of solidarity in the Colombian General Health System in the contributory and subsidized regimes is analyzed. Research is assumed as a hermeneutical experience, a qualitative research paradigm that involves both a process of formation to be investigated, as a process of translating the meaning structures looking for something new to conceptualize. So, the question that guided the research was to see how the principle of solidarity is expressed in the health system in Colombia, analyzing in the circle of understanding relating the whole to the parts, the interrelationship of solidarity with other principles general health system, the principle of solidarity in the social security system in health and position of the Constitutional Court on the principle of solidarity in health.
