摘要
A vise-grip was modified to make a simple device to extract epicuticular wax separately from adaxial and abaxial surfaces of sorghum leaf blades. Epicuticular wax load was estimated at three leaf positions in two sorghum lines using this method and the standard leaf disc method. A significant correlation was observed between the two methods.
