摘要：
Based on the Discourse Analysis of French line, this article presents a brief analysis of discourses that are in the short story "Terca-feira gorda" published in 1982 by Caio Fernando Abreu in the book called Morangos Mofados. This research aims at detecting the presence of the difference, of the other (Other) on the discourses, indicating the difference as the exterior that constitutes the identity and showing that the subjects' subjectivity points to the collectivity, to the social and to History.
