摘要
An examination has been made of the use of work rolls of different surface roughness and diameter on cold rolling mills. The uneven distribution of torques during rolling in work rolls of different roughness can be reduced by using rolls with different diameters. The results of rolling aluminium strip with double asymmetry on a 100 laboratory mill are discussed. Mathematical expressions are obtained for assessing the non-uniformity of torque distribution under conditions of an industrial mill. Data from experimental rolling on a 1680 continuous mill and a 120 reversing mill are analysed.
