摘要
Our changing lifestyle is reflected in the food we consume. Our current fast pace of living has resulted in a considerable increase in the use of convenience foods, while our greater awareness of health has led to demands for products that are more natural and which contain less fat. The public also demands that these foods should be as good or better than traditional fare, as well as being affordable. By using and modifying carbohydrates, there is a lot that we can do to meet these demands.
