摘要
The design and performance characteristics of a 3. 18 aspect ratio flapwing tested in an open jet wind tunnel are presented. The flapwing was tested in the range 1. 19 multiplied by 10**5 less than equivalent to Re less than equivalent to 2. 11 multiplied by 10**5 and the results are presented in terms of the performance coefficient versus tip speed ratio of the rotor. Torque and developed power at maximum C//p are given and it is shown that the flapwing can operate in the unducted mode. Finally, a comparison is made with the more standard type of wind generator.
