摘要
The sorption and diffusion of gases and vapors into and through polymers is of considerable practical and theoretical importance. Construction of general equations that describe the sorption of gaseous solutes into polymers would represent a significant advance, especially if it were possible to ascertain whether or not equations that describe the behavior of solutes in nonpolymeric systems are equally applicable to polymers. In this paper a general equation has been used to describe solubility properties of a wide range of gaseous solutes in polymers.
