We question the Portuguese restlessness and the challenges from Portuguese culture thinkers' point of view. We focus our attention on authors from the XIX century to nowadays, especially in Eca de Queiros and Baptista-Bastos. In the end, we present a glossary about this issue based on quotations of several Portugues intelligentsia.
