摘要
The radiative lifetime of low dimensional excitons in quantum wires and quantum wells is studied. As a result of quasi-thermal distribution of excitons within their energy-wavevector dispersion curve, the contribution of optically inactive excitons with large wavevectors are important in the temperature dependence of the radiative lifetime.
