摘要
Microgrid is a demand of modern century in ideal power system due to its accuracy and efficiency. It fulfills the requirement of energy for customers by utilizing several renewable energy resources. Despite of smart invention system, it is still facing many challenges regarding design, operation, control, and protection in both modes either connected or islanded. These facts regarding microgrids lead us towards its further development. This paper facilitates the discussion about microgrid limitations and research development including distributed generation, operation, control techniques and protection enhancement.
