摘要
We present inverse photoemission results in the ultraviolet (11.3-23 eV) from YFe2. The photon energy dependence of k-integrated isochromat spectra gives direct access to the Fe and Y contributions to the density of empty electron states. The measurements are compared with published calculations; it is shown that the position of the mixed Fe(3d)-Y(4d) peak around 2 eV above the Fermi level is particularly critical.
