A PULSE STUDY OF OXIDATIVE COUPLING FOR CH4 ON LI2O/MGO

摘要
In this paper, we report the results of studies on rbe activity of lattice oxygen, the effects of Li on lattice oxygen, and the process through which the gas phase oxygen takes part in the reaction. A pulse method was used in this study. It is proposed that the gas phase oxygen first changes into lattice oxygen and then reacts with methane. Li2O/MgO catalysts provide the active oxygen which reacts with methane to form C-2 hydrocarbons. li(2)O doped on MgO catalysts restrain the deep oxidation of reactant or product, thus increasing selectivity.
