摘要
This article aims to analyze theoretically the role of education in personality development of adolescent from the assumptions of cultural-historical psychology and historical-critical pedagogy. Were researched works of Vygotsky, Leontiev as much as Luria, Elkonin, among other authors who have contributed and contribute to the formation of the body of the works produced by the cultural-historical psychology. The historical-critical pedagogy, from the works of Dermeval Saviani and Newton Duarte, was used as a mediator between cultural-historical psychology and education, understanding that this pedagogical theory is compatible with the assumptions of the "Vygotsky School". This article introduces the concept of cultural-historical psychology about the personality of teenagers as a way to overcome the naturalization and idealistic conceptions in psychology, also explaining the importance of transmission of school subjects for the development of personality in this period of transition.
