摘要：

The treatment of foreign bodies in the thoracic part of the oesophagus is described. The surgical technique for removal of the foreign body by thoracotomy and oesophagostomy is demonstrated with a case report. With regard to per primam healing of the oesophagus incision postoperative tube feeding is of special importance.
