摘要
This paper presents the path to the creation of the first indigenous school of Dourados/MS, the Municipal School Indigenous Pa'i Chiquito - Chiquito Pedro. In addition, we highlight the intercultural and identity relations observed along this process from data collected from observations, field notes, interviews, documents. The interdisciplinary approach was used and the theoretical bases connect to the fields of History, Education and Sociosemiotics. In summary, the work reveals that the creation of an indigenous school involves internal and external conflicts to the community. Several factors mark the fragility in the formation of cohesive teams and engaged in the search for the indigenous education of quality in favor of the indigenous people. However, such experiences can be the starting point for the historical development of policies for indigenous education based on solid parameters.
