摘要：
The aim of the paper is a holistic review of the issues associated with optimal capital structure. In the first part of the paper, there is the description and comparison of the analyses sample, i.e. enterprises operating in construction businesses. Then, the paper analyses the impact of factors determining capital structure and empirical verification of validity of theories related to optimal capital structure in conditions specific for the Slovak Republic.
