摘要
The great challenge for European convergence in higher education lies in setting up more flexible structures and a new approach to learning. The concept of a new university is based on a constructivist conception of learning, in which the student plays a key role in creating meaning, and the teacher is a mediator between students and knowledge. This study analyzed the evolution and the learning processes of undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education at the University of Granada, Spain. More specifically, we examined courses introduced under the LRU (University Reform Law) system and under the ECTS system, as well as current degree courses. Also, we identified which aspects ought to be changed or enhanced in order to accomplish the objectives of the new model, not only at a theoretical and general level, but also in practice; and developed teaching and learning methodology models.
