摘要
This article shows the environmental impact on the life cycle of the Jatropha curcas for its use as biodiesel using a Numeric Matrix. The sustainability analysis was made using the matrix (22.23): that is, 22 activities of the life cycle of the production of bio-fuel from the Jatropha Curcas Oil, in Cuba, and 23 factors (13 component and 4 sub-systems) that influence in the sustainability. Each activity was qualified according to the positive impact, negative or nil provoked. This study gives the possibility to know how the implementation of this culture impacts in the Cuban ecosystem to produce bio-fuel from the Oil of Jatropha curcas.
