STRUCTURE OF WATER AND AQUEOUS-SOLUTIONS OF NONELECTROLYTES, ACCORDING TO H-1-NMR DATA .1. WATER - GEOMETRY OF HYDROGEN-BONDS, RADIAL-DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION, AND DIELECTRIC-PROPERTIES

From the magnitudes of the proton chemical shifts, distributions of H-bond angles in liquid water have been found for the temperature interval 0-100-degrees-C. On the assumption of a continuum model of the structure of water, radial distribution functions at 25-degrees-C have been calculated, as well as the static permittivity for the 0-100-degrees-C temperature interval. Good agreement with experimental data has been demonstrated.
