ANTITUMOUR AGENTS SYNTHESIZED FROM K2PTCL4 AND POLYMERIC OR CYCLIC PHOSPHAZENES

摘要
The phosphazenes [NP(NHMe)2]n, [NP(NHMe)2]4 and [NPMe2]4, react with K2PtCl4 [dipotassium platinum tetrachloride] in organic media to yield square planar Pt complexes of the type, (NPR2)x-PtCl2 and in aqueous acid media to yield salts of the type, [H2N4P4R8]2+[PtCl4]2-. These compounds showed significant antitumor behavior in preliminary testing in P388 mouse leukemia.
