摘要
The double containment corner joint is frequently used in bonding applications where structural integrity is of prime importance. The design and analysis of such joints depend on the geometrical shape of the joint support and also on the relative stiffness of the adherends and the adhesive. These joints were analysed using the finite element method for different loading conditions, as a result of which a recommended design was determined which was based on the overall static stiffness of the corner joint. © 1990.
