摘要
The multidimensional Kramers problem of particle escape from a potential well under the action of a random force is considered in the case when friction is highly anisotropic and the multidimensional potential is such that a particle can escape from the well at the expense of its motion along the fast coordinates only, with fixed value of a slow coordinate. We find that there are some situations in which recrossings play a determining role. In such situations the qualitative process picture proves to be significantly different from that which occurs in situations where recrossings can be ignored. We discover two new types of qualitative process picture stemming from recrossings. For each of them the process rate constant is calculated.
