摘要：

Expressions for the displacement and stress fields of a sinusoidal edge dislocation in an infinitely extended isotropic medium are given. It is suggested that information on the physical properties of non-planar cracks propagating along [110] in intermetallics with cubic structures map be obtained by studying particular cracks which consist of continuous distributions of sinusoidal edge dislocations perpendicular to [110] with infinitesimal Burgers vectors.
