摘要
A soundproofing system was developed against floor-impact sounds for a hanging second-floor constructed of dimension (2" X 4") lumber. The hanging floor prevented impact-force sounds on the second floor from carrying directly to the first floor. The system, consisting of the hanging floor, soundproof flooring, and a double non-suspended soundproof ceiling, achieved L-45 soundproofing rank for heavyweight-impact sounds and L-50 for lightweight-impact sounds. Estimation of the L-value in the 31.5 Hz octave band was needed for a soundproofing systems under L-60. This result indicates the necessity of changing JIS A 1418 which is the Japan Industrial Standard dealing with the estimation of heavyweight impact sounds.
