摘要
A single Langmuir probe has been used to examine the spatial distribution of the electron concentration in the anode plasma of a high-voltage glow discharge (HVGD) in deuterium at a maximum voltage of 150 kv. The electron temperature and the plasma potential have been determined. It is found that the length of the cathode-potential region (CPR) is independent of the voltage but is determined by the pressure in the discharge tube.
