摘要：

The elimination rate of phenazone [an analgesic, antipyretic], after a single oral dose was studied before and after elective operations. In a group of patients with different illnesses the elimination rate was increased on the 4th to 7th days after operation but was unchanged on the 2nd and 3rd days. The change in elimination rate was highly significant in a standardized group of 9 patients with a ligament injury in 1 knee studied on the 4th or 5th postoperative day. Possible reasons for the changes are discussed.
