摘要
The article seeks the establishment of historical connections between criminology's epistemological object and demands for order in the process of capital accumulation. An understanding of the criminal matter as a historical-social construction makes possible a political perspective of power relations, which involve conjunctural demands for order. In this sense the analysis goes through the shifting between the arisen of punitive power in the XIII century, the constitution of the state as central place of the criminal system until the XVIII century, the arisen of criminology as a discipline in the XIX century and its transformation along the XX century, as well as challenges to be overcome in modern capitalism.
