摘要：

Since the topic of Operations Management and Technology is a key element of the science of management, and, therefore, it is explained in both business and engineering schools, the study of its best teaching methods is completely necessary in order to get the aim of its translation to students. Moreover, the importance of the topic and its scientific nature make necessary to continuously improve in the area of its research methodology. The aim of this paper is to reflect on the teaching and research in Operations Management and Technology in Spain. Additionally, this article serves as an introduction to the papers that make up this special issue.
