摘要：

Adenomas, although the most common benign tumors in the middle ear, are of low incidence. They may arise in a previously normal adult ear, causing a conductive deafness and later an aural discharge. Histologic definition may be difficult in these tumors, which are assumed to arise from middle ear epithelium. Fairly extensive surgery may be required for their eradication. Two cases are described.
