摘要
This paper describes an investigation into the creep behaviour of weldments in 12Cr-Mo-V steel, with particular emphasis on the effect of welding conditions and type of filler metals. At 600-degrees-C, the creep lives of all the weldments fall below the DIN 17175 scatterband and are not influenced by a variation in welding regime, number of postweld heat treatments and type of filler metal. This is attributed to the premature creep damage in the 'type IV' zone, the outer part of the fine grained zone, which possesses the poorest creep resistance.
