MODULATED RADIOFREQUENCY AND MICROWAVE-ABSORPTION IN SUPERCONDUCTORS WITH INTRINSIC WEAK LINKS

摘要
The calculation is presented of modulated absorption (MA) for superconductors with intrinsic weak links in the weak-connected loop model. The origin of MA is found to be dependent on the frequency band. In the RF case (0.1-10 MHz) it is due to interruption of the weak links while crossed by flux quanta; whereas-in the MW band (10 GHz) MA is caused by non-linear interaction with Josephson supercurrent. The calculations are in good agreement with experimental MA curves obtained for YBaCuO samples in both frequency bands.
