摘要：

Dispate of the large amount of critical references on Manuel Bandeira's works we noticed a gap related to his activity as a translator that needs to be closely investigated. This article consists, therefore, in a reflection upon Bandeira's little exploited activity. After verifying the thematical approximation between his poems and his translations we analyzed the ones about death and dying as we perceive poetic material interesting to the exegesis of his work.
