摘要
Electroluminescence from poly(p-phenylenevinylene) with monoalkoxy substituent on the aromatic ring was observed. The peak wavelength of the electroluminescence was 550nm which is very close to that of photoluminescence. The current - voltage curve shows rectifying characteristics and light - current characteristics were measured, which show the threshold voltage of about 7V.
